1.10.10 Fight form partnership with Philadelphia Wings Lacrosse Team

National League Lacrosse team The Philadelphia Wings will host a Rugby League exhibition for the Philadelphia Fight Rugby League Club before their game on Saturday, April 3 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. This will be the first time the Fight, or any Rugby team, has participated in an event on the turf at the arena.
We would just like to thank all those people who helped us during 2009. The fans who came to games, the media who covered any part of our games or events. Anyone who came to any of our events, the medical team (Dr. Jack, Dr. Kevin and Megan), all our sponsors (especially Pabst Blue Ribbon and Kildare's Manayunk Irish Pub) and the families of our players and dance team who allow your loved ones the time it takes to be a member of this team.
The Philadelphia Fight Rugby League Club will host a Beef and Beer fundraiser that benefits ALS also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. It will be held on Saturday Night December 12th, starting at 6pm at the TK Club in Conshohocken PA.
11.19.09 Vixen appearance-MCCC Men's Basketball game
The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs men's basketball team hosted the Bucks County Community College Centurions in their 2009-2010 season home opener on Thursday, November 19. Included in the evening's promotional events was the attendance of the Philadelphia Fight Vixens Dance Team.
11.15.09 USA tops Jamaica 37-22 in first international test
The USA has scored a sensational 37-22 come-from-behind win against Jamaica in the Atlantic Cup Rugby League Test Saturday in Jacksonville, FL. The Jamaicans led narrowly 12-10 at the half, but the Tomahawks dialed in some champagne football in the second spell to get the richly deserved victory.

The American national rugby league team is in Jacksonville as it prepares for Saturday's Atlantic Cup Test match against Jamaica.
It has been almost exactly two years since their last venture in the UK when they faced a formidable Samoa outfit in the 2008 World Cup tenth-place playoff tournament.
The USA Tomahawks will feature fourteen debutantes in the squad that will face Jamaica in the Atlantic Cup Challenge match at the University of North Florida on November 14th.
Cheap beers, good beers, shots and pumpkin bombs were all the rage on Ryan Douglas' send-off celebration. The show started promptly at 8:00 PM at the TK Club in Conshohocken where we found ourselves drinking the night away until 10:00 PM with a bar tab of $40.

The Jacksonville Axemen in partnership with the American National Rugby League (AMNRL) and the Jamaican Rugby League Association (JRLA), are excited and proud to announce that a full international game between the two nations will take place at the University of North Florida on Saturday November 14th. The USA Tomahawks will square off against the Jamaicans in this historic event.

Clint Eastwood brings rugby to the big screen in his new movie Invictus. It will be released on Friday December 11th and stars Matt Damon, and Morgan Freeman. It was filmed entirely in South Africa and the film tells the inspiring true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa's rugby team to help unite their country.

Drama has marked the opening round of the American National Rugby League playoffs with a disqualification and red cards in the quarterfinals.
8.08.09 PBR Fight win, secure a playoff spot for first time in 7 years
The PBR Philadelphia Fight put a final stamp of authority on their regular season with a 64-20 belting of the Connecticut Wildcats and finished with a 4-4 record. They will travel to New York next week to take on the Knights whom they narrowly lost to a few weeks ago.
