The 8 East Man of the Match vs. the defending National Champions was none other than Captain (Kangaroo) Ryan Douglas!
Ryan was all over the park and massive in every area of the game. Ryan was strong out of marker and he had countless sets of double and triple tackles, he distributed the ball effortlessly to his halfback Joel Weeks, and was in support everywhere. Ryan leaves for Australia this weekend, but he has been the true leader of this club from the start. We will miss him but hope that his employer allows him to come back for the playoffs to lead us to our First National Championship!
