The North American neighbors will be reviving their CanAm series after a 10-year hiatus.
Canada last fielded an international Rugby League side in the 2000 Emerging Nations series in the UK and following a period of inactivity since then, the Canada Rugby League has come back to life this season.
Conversely, the Tomahawks are riding a one-game win streak having accounted for Jamaica 37-22 last November in the Atlantic Cup in Jacksonville, FL.
“We are looking forward to taking on the Wolverines in Ontario and hope that this game helps to develop the sport of rugby league further in North America,” US head coach David Niu told ARN.
“It has been a few years since we played Canada, but the games are always a tough contest and we expect another great game to contest the Colonial Cup.”
The American squad is due to arrive in Kingston on Saturday.
