Forwards Brad Kielinski and Nick O'Connor were chosen the Kildare's Irish Pub men of the match vs. the Jacksonville Axemen.
Nick in his first year with the Fight since joining us from the Illawarra Competition in Australia was relentless on defense making many bone jarring hits and keeping the Axemen from offloading the ball. He forced 3 Axemen players off the field during the game because of his tough defense.
Captain Brad Kielinski was also strong on defense, but was the lone Fight player on the squad able to crack the Axemen line again and again on offense. Brad set up a spectacular try early making a break outside and fending off a few men before dishing off to Pat Kelly for the Fight's first try.
