3rd Annual Battle to Strike Out ALS Match vs. Boston Thirteens

The PBR Philadelphia Fight will square off in the "3rd Annual Battle to Strike Out ALS" (Lou Gehrig's Disease) against a very strong Boston Thirteens team on Saturday July 24th. The game will be played at 5pm at our home field, A.A. Garthwaite Stadium located at 11th Avenue and Harry Streets, in Conshohocken PA.

It will be the last home game of the season for the PBR Fight, but we hope for more with the playoffs not far away.

Admission is $5 for Adults, and children under 12 get in free. A portion of all proceeds on the day will go to the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia.  (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

All patients of the ALS association and a one caregiver will receive free admission.  The PBR Fight partnered with ALS when we restructured the team back in 2007, and it has been a great relationship for us and we pledge our support to them and their cause.

The Fight Vixens Dance Team will be on hand to perform routines each quarter for the fans, and Powerade will be on location again with their refreshment tent.  Concessions will be served, and their will be plenty of give aways for the fans.

We hope you will come out and support this great event for a wonderful charity with us and also get to see some great Rugby League from two of the premier teams in the AMNRL competition.  The Fight will hope to claim the Battle trophy for the first time, as they have dropped the first two match events to the Jacksonville Axemen in 2008, and 2009.

Join us after the match at our team clubhouse Kildare's Irish Pub located at 4417 Main Street, Manayunk PA.  We will have food and drink specials all night.
