The American National Rugby League & PBR Philadelphia Fight Rugby League Club are proud to announce the 2010 AMNRL Grand Final XIII presented by Londonbury @ Millenium Apts on August 28th at the Fight's home pitch A.A. Garthwaite Stadium in Conshochoken PA. Grand Final match to start at 3pm. Gates open at 12pm.
New Haven hosted the defending champion New York Knights and sent them packing after a 42-18 defeat.
In the other semi, the Jacksonville Axemen swept aside a lethargic Aston Bulls 46-4.
The event will be highlighted by an appearance by legendary Philadelphia Phillie's Hall of Fame 3rd Basemen Mike Schmidt. Mike will be on hand to meet fans, spend time in the VIP tent, and enjoy his first look at an American National Rugby League match. The AMNRL GF XIII will kickoff at 3pm. Pre match entertainment will feature the AMNRL 'Hall of Fame' Eagletag Game at 1.30pm
The Star Group Philadelphia/NJ have stepped forward in a huge way and taken on the responsibility of live web streaming the 2010 AMNRL Grand Final XIII!
Star Group productions in conjunction with www.wearerugby.com will film the entire game and present it LIVE on the web for all our national and overseas fans wanting to catch a glimpse of their first American National Championship match. Not only will they bring you the game, they will provide behind the scenes footage and a complete highlights package after the match. Star Group will be filming up close and personal and present the game in an exciting way.
Commentary will be provided by Brian Lowe of American Rugby News and long time AMNRL front man Bob Balachandran.
