The two unbeaten teams from the 2008 AMNRL Club Competition have qualified for American National Rugby League Grand Final XI. The Aston Bulls with a perfect 9-0 record will take on the New Haven Warriors who also have a perfect record of 9-0.

For the Bulls it will be their eleventh consecutive appearance on the Cup Final Day, while the New Haven Warriors will be taking their first shot at the National Championship Title in only their third season in the competition. The Bulls beat the Knights in Aston, Pennsylvania and the Warriors overcame a fierce second half comeback from the Wildcats to edge out the reigning premiers in New Haven, Connecticut. Cup Final XI will be a huge day of entertainment at Doughboy Field, Fort Dix in New Jersey with the biggest ever crowd expected at an AMNRL Grand Final that will feature EAGLETAG games, the AMNRL Allstar Squad taking on the New Police Team, Cup Final XI, and a performance post match by Comedy Central comedian Bill Dawes who will open up for Sting Ray Freakwincey Band to cap off a huge party in the park. Gates open at 10am with rugby league fans, families and friends able to enjoy a full day of entertainment with food and beverages available on site.
