The American National Rugby League has crowned a new champion.
The Jacksonville Axemen have won it all by downing the New Haven Warriors 34-14 in the 2010 Grand Final Saturday in Philadelphia.
It is the Axemen's first national title and they had to come from behind to win it.

The PBR Philadelphia Fight wrapped up their 2010 season on Sat August 14 when they bowed out of the AMNRL competition with a determined and hard fought quarter-final loss to the Aston Bulls. Both teams fought hard to gain the upper hand in the 80 minutes of regular time. By the end of the 4th 20minute quarter it was all tied up with the Fight 30, Bulls 30. The bruising and exciting contest required extra time.

On paper at least, this weekend's American National Rugby League quarterfinals look to be pretty competitive, but one matchup in particular could go either way and it's the ARN Game of the Week.
The Aston Bulls are hosting cross-town rivals the Philadelphia Fight in the third meeting of the two this season.
There has been a late change to the opening round of the American National Rugby League playoffs with the Connecticut Wildcats pulling out of their quarterfinal with Jacksonville on Saturday.
As a consequence of the withdrawal by the Cats, who were champions in 2007, the Axemen now have a first round bye and will have a home game in the semifinals on August 21.
You can't deny the popularity of a game like American football.
It's violent, marketed beautifully and filled with a luscious history that is as decorated as it is celebrated.
American football is also one of the highest generators of action in any sportsbook as well.

The Jacksonville Axemen brought Aston's unbeaten run to an abrupt halt with a stunning 26-6 victory over the Bulls Saturday in Week 4 action in the American National Rugby League.
The Axemen scored early through a Zac Matta try and never looked back.

The (2-1) PBR Philadelphia Fight got by the (0-3) Washington DC Slayers 42-26. DC led 10-0 at the end of the first quarter, but couldn't hold off the Fight, who began to find their rhythm in the second period in front of a crowd of over 200.

The New Haven Warriors and Aston Bulls have moved into a two-way tie for first place after three rounds of the American National Rugby League competition.
Both teams posted huge wins Saturday with the Bulls tuning the Fairfax Eagles 96-22 and New Haven belting the Northern Raiders 74-5.
Despite the lop-sided score against them, the Eagles earned a bonus point for scoring four tries even though they were missing 15 A-graders for various reasons.

In honor of the epic event, Captain Morgan teamed up with Maxim Magazine to host birthday bashes in Philadelphia and across the country.

The USA has scored a sensational 37-22 come-from-behind win against Jamaica in the Atlantic Cup Rugby League Test Saturday in Jacksonville, FL. The Jamaicans led narrowly 12-10 at the half, but the Tomahawks dialed in some champagne football in the second spell to get the richly deserved victory.

The Conshohocken Borough hosted the first ever 13-a-side Rugby League match at the A.A. Garthwaite Stadium on Saturday 27 June, between the home team, the Pabst Philadelphia Fight and the visiting Washington DC Slayers, with the home team running out convincing winners 72 to 16. It's their third consecutive win for the season and their first home game.
