Fight Concert to Benefit ALS Association

The Philadelphia Fight Rugby League Club is hosting a benefit concert in West Chester PA on Saturday February 7th from 2-6pm. We are working with a local bar (The Note) to host a concert with local bands The Urban Achievers and Bryn Mawr. The concert will be used as a fundraiser for the club, but we will also donate a portion of the proceeds (25%) to benefit our charity the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia. We will be holding a raffle of various items donated by local businesses and also items from the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia. All proceeds of the raffle will go to ALS.

Fight benefit concert a big success

The Philadelphia Fight Rugby League Club hosted a fundraiser/benefit concert this past Saturday at The Note in West Chester PA and it was a big step for the club. Over 100 guests attended and we were able to raise nearly $500 dollars for the ALS Association of Greater Philadelphia, while also helping get the club on track financially for the upcoming season.

Just under 6000 fans enjoyed temps in the mid to upper 50 and clear sunny skies. The Gates open right on time and fans flooded into Hodges Stadium and the University of North Florida to the sounds of live local band Dan Reading and No Relation along with Erin Brookes and Option P. They where also greeted by the Jacksonville Axe Maiden Cheerleaders along with the smell of good food and hot coffee from Bad Ass Coffee.
